5 |
DPF Kindergarten Sports Day - Student's first exposure to the wonderful children of the Duang Prateep Foundation including DPF introductions, Q&A, and a tour of the slum. It's an eye-opening introduction! - there's much work to be done. Students have an action packed afternoon of games, sports, and activities with the underprivileged children of Klong Toey. Activities can include tug-of-wars, dance contests, water balloon relays, and much more! Students listen to stories of the realities of life in the Bangkok slum, and retire to the hotel after a full day of fun and insight. |

So Hard To Say Goodbye - Students say goodbye to their new friends at Lifeworks. Without fail there are a mix of emotions - there is excitement to return home; there is sadness to leave. Students fly together Bangkok to Seoul, South Korea with the help of Lifeworks' professional staff, continue on to New York (JFK) or Los Angeles airports, and from there towards their respective homes and families. |
